BPS Pamekasan Regency Launches and Socializes the Village Love Statistics (Desa Cantik) Program 2026

April 20, 2026 | Other Activities

Pamekasan — Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Pamekasan Regency officially initiated the Launching and Socialization of the Village Love Statistics (Desa Cantik) Program on Monday (April 20) at the Pamekasan Subdistrict Office. This activity represents a strategic effort to enhance statistical literacy and improve data management quality at the village and urban ward levels.

The Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) Program is designed to promote the availability of accurate, up-to-date, and accountable data. With high-quality data, development planning at the local level is expected to be more targeted and capable of delivering tangible benefits to the community.

In 2026, three villages/urban wards have been selected as the focus of this program: Panempan Village, Toronan Village, and Barurambat Kota Urban Ward. These areas will receive guidance and assistance in statistical data management, covering data collection, processing, and utilization to support development planning.

Through this launching and socialization activity, it is expected that village and local governments will be increasingly capable of managing data independently, utilizing data for planning purposes, and supporting data-driven development. The program also strengthens collaboration between BPS and local governments in fostering better data governance.

BPS Pamekasan Regency invites all stakeholders to actively support the realization of more advanced and self-reliant villages through the use of quality data as a fundamental pillar of sustainable development.
