Abstract

• East Java Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) in January 2021 decreased 0.13 percent from 100.80 to 100.67. The decline in NTP was due to the increase in the price index received by farmers (It) by 0.13 percent, which was lower than the price index paid by farmers (Ib), which increased by 0.26 percent.
• In January 2021, two agricultural sub-sectors experienced a decrease in NTP and three sub-sectors experienced an increase. The sub-sector that experienced the largest decline in NTP occurred in the Animal Husbandry sub-sector, namely 1.05 percent from 99.49 to 98.45, followed by the Food Crops sub-sector by 0.27 percent from 102.48 to 102.21. The sub-sector that experienced an increase in NTP was the Horticulture sub-sector by 2.24 percent from 97.82 to 100.01, followed by the Fisheries sub-sector by 0.39 percent from 98.62 to 99.00 and the People's Plantation sub-sector by 0.33 percent from 98 , 03 becomes 98.35.
• Of the five provinces in Java that calculated NTP in January 2021, only one province experienced an increase in NTP, namely Banten with an increase of 0.42 percent, while other provinces experienced a decrease. The largest decrease in NTP occurred in the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Central Java with a decrease of 0.51 percent, followed by West Java and East Java Provinces with 0.13 percent.
