Abstract
115.86 to 119.85. The increase in
NTP was caused by the price index received by farmers (It) increasing by 4.06
percent, higher than the increase in the price index paid by farmers (Ib) of
0.59 percent.
In February 2024, four
agricultural subsectors experienced an increase in NTP and one other subsector
experienced a decrease in NTP. The subsector that experienced the highest
increase in NTP was the Food Crops subsector by 5.05 percent from 122.36 to 128.53,
followed by the Horticulture subsector by 2.98 percent from 123.22 to 126.90,
the People's Plantation Crops subsector by 0.70 percent from 107.07 to 107.82,
and the Livestock subsector by 0.67 percent from 102.23 to 102.91. Meanwhile,
the subsector that experienced a decrease in NTP was the Fisheries subsector by
1.71 percent from 95.59 to 93.96.
Of the five provinces on the
island of Java that carried out NTP calculations in February 2024, all
provinces experienced an increase in NTP. The highest increase in NTP was in
Banten Province at 3.64 percent, followed by the Special Region of Yogyakarta
at 3.63 percent, East Java at 3.45 percent, Central Java at 3.16 percent, and
West Java at 3.03 percent.
